In the past, the company I work for has always have some sort of a party gathering to celebrate Christmas. I remember one time we even had it at EMP in Seattle Center, that was pretty cool. Last year our VP took our team out to lunch at Spazzo Italian Restaurant and that was a lot of fun too. This year with the economy not doing so well and everyone is cutting their budget but that didn't stop us from celebrating this wonderful holiday. Our VP invited our team for dinner at his house and the Director was our cook. He's known for cooking a delicious Spanish Paella. I mean we are talking about some serious Paella folks. :) I was so excited to watch how its done and of course I volunteered to be the sous chef. I had such a great time.
We put chicken legs, shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels on the paella with rice, vegetables, chicken stock, chorizo and seasonings which I don't remember what it was. I asked for the recipe of course and hopefully I will be able to make it for my family sometime soon.
All the ingredients are prepped so all I had to do is help cook it. This is the best Paella I ever have.

I'm cooking the vegetables after the chicken legs

Me with the head chef

Here we added the rice and the chicken stock

Now I'm adding more ingredients...shrimp, scallops, chorizo, clams and mussels

Tada! all done

I can't resist to take another photo...haha! I'm so proud I helped make this
