Off work

It's so awesome that I have this whole week off from work which means that I made plans for each day that I am off...haha! so typical! I was looking forward to today's play date. Shawna and her daughter is in town from Paris and it would have been nice to see them today and see Kelly and Collin too. Unfortunately, Tyler and I couldn't make it. Tyler woke up at 3am this morning and had a slight fever. He was so uncomfortable and not feeling well at all. I got up the first time when he cried and tried to bring him in our bed except that he was crying a lot and Jon needed to sleep because he has a long day at work. I ended up sleeping in Tyler's room and was up every hour when he cried.

I called the nurse line and they told me to monitor Tyler throughout the day. His temperature was fine in the morning although I still think that he's still a little hot than normal. Even though he was not feeling too well, he was still pretty active all day which is a good sign. I put him to nap 4 times today, more than usual but I figure that he needed to rest up. He also throw up so I called the nurse line again to find out if I needed to bring him in but they said no and that the symptoms he's showing is normal during this time of the year. Not only that, they think that he is teething so his immune system may be a little weak making him more susceptible to colds. I don't like it when he is sick.

I had to clean up his high chair after he threw up so I finally got this booster seat out of the box, he like sitting on it and even enjoyed eating cheerios. He just started picking up the tiny cereal and able to put it in his mouth on his own. Another milestone for him. I hope he feels better soon!
