It's Taka's bday tomorrow and I wanted to bake a cake for him. I asked my friend Chiwa what design he wanted on his cake and he picked the red power ranger. I know this is going to be a tough one because I don't have any molds to use for power ranger and I also don't have edible pens for the details. I searched online to see if there are other power ranger cake I can use as a model. I didn't find anything great in particular but I did find some good idea not necessarily power ranger but the idea of something coming out of the cake...sounds fun huh? Now I just have to think of how to do it. haha!
After dinner and putting Tyler down to bed, I started on the PR cake. I felt like a little kid, I was so excited. It was very hard to make the power ranger so I made my own interpretation...haha! I hope Taka likes it.
Here's my model. I have to open Tyler's present to Taka to give me an idea of the figure. This red Power Ranger (Jungle fury) looks so tough...
