We dressed up Tyler with his GI Joe outfit today. He got this as a gift on my baby shower from Auntie Sheila. He finally got a chance to wear it before it get too small for him to wear. We then dropped him off at his Lolo and Lola's place. Jon and I met up with our friends at the Salmon House for brunch. It was nice to catch up with everyone. Here are some pictures of Tyler.

"Thanks Auntie Sheila and Uncle Jeff for the cool outfit!"

"I can stand up dad if you let me...look no hands...no hands!"
"Are you going to toss me up in the air?"
"I guess not!"
"Rambo crawl"
Sweet potatoes was a huge hit! Tyler really likes the sweet potatoes I prepared for him last night. Sweet potatoes contains beta-carotene, fiber, vitamin A and C and minerals such as iron and copper. I got the recipe from Cooking for baby book:
Sweet Potato Puree
- Preheat oven to 425F. Prick 2-3 sweet potatoes with a small knife and place on a baking sheet.
- Roast until wrinkled and tender when pierced with the tip of a knife, 45-60 minutes. Let cool.
- Halve sweet potatoes, scoop out flesh from skins, and puree flesh in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add water, breast milk, or formula to think sweet potatoes to a consistency your baby can handle. As baby gets older and can eat thicker purees, mash some or all of the sweet potato with a fork.
Notes: the cooking method above can also be used for baking potatoes. To store, refrigerate cooled puree in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or fill ice-cube trays or other container to freeze for up to 3 months.
