Typhoon and roses

It was nice being able to get away from work once in awhile and had lunch with a friend. Chris took me out to lunch today and we went to Typhoon restaurant in the East side. I really like the food, Thai ice tea and the atmosphere at Typhoon so I suggested to go there. We shared green curry chicken and pad see ew beef. It was yummy...Of course I showed off my new cam to him and even took some sample pics...

Typhoon Restaurant entrance

Typhoon has a good selection of teas and their Thai ice tea is my favorite...

It was kind of dark inside the restaurant and I turn off the flash so it won't be too embarrassing to take a picture. I told Chris, this is for my blog...and he laughed! My turn of course...*smile*

After work, I went to see Tyler at his grandma's house. The three of us actually spent the night because Lolo is out of town and we want to keep Lola company. As soon as Tyler fall asleep, I started making white roses out of fondant and gum paste. Jon watched the meeting online so I was in the kitchen by myself. I didn't mind, I needed to stay up anyway for Tyler's last feeding. Here's a picture of my hand made roses.

The food tasted great. Thanks for recommending the place. I also dig the camera body. Some of the Canon doesn't look nearly as good!
