Rainy day and Monday

I confess...I love the Carpenters...lol! it is indeed rainy Monday. I worked from home today which is very nice because I have Tyler next to me all day. He napped for a long time in the morning and then we met up with best bud Collin and Auntie Anne for lunch. I also got Tyler an outfit from Baby Style for Halloween. I didn't intend to buy it but it was on sale and I couldn't resist. It's a green dragon but the more I look at it, it looks like green Godzilla. haha! my son the Godzilla. He's going to be cute and his dad like the costume too. I'll post the pictures in couple weeks.

Tyler crawls everywhere now. He even tries to get up and crawl over the pillows covering two steps. He is very persistent like his dad. I won't be surprise if he will start crawling in our kitchen anytime soon. Here's some pictures of him today.
"Busted!"
He can also sit on his own now. He still leans over sometimes but if you let him, he'll try to sit up. Here's Tyler playing with his books...
"Wanna read it for me mama?"
"I just do it!"

I fed Tyler the left over winter squash and he refuse to eat it. He does not like it at all, so after couple spoonful of it, I switch to banana rice cereal. He like that instead. As for our dinner, I was lazy to cook tonight so I made a 15 minute meal and I came up with steak, sauteed asparagus and box four cheese mashed potatoes...the potatoes are disgusting....yuck! This is the first time I made it and I'm not making that again for sure. There's nothing like home made mashed potatoes...I'll do that instead if I have the time. And for dessert, I baked apple strudel with raisins. I got this from Trader Joe's and there's two pieces in a box. It was actually pretty good. I timed it right so that it would be ready after we ate dinner. I should have bake one piece because it was enough for both of us. We matched it with french vanilla ice cream and that made up for the disgusting mashed potatoes.
