Something blue

Results came in and everything checks out except I had moderately high LDL (bad cholesterol) meaning I have to start watching my diet and start exercising.

I have a very cute visitor at work today...Collin came in with his mom during lunch time. While his mom went to get her health screening test, he stayed with me in my cube. He is super cute and so behave. He's also curious with his surroundings. At lunch time, we went to meet up with Joanne at Todai's. It was pretty good although I tend to over eat there. Oh well.

After work, I spent most of my time with Tyler and Jon until Tyler's bed time. Then I managed to finish my cake (Something Blue Cake)...This is suppose to be a wedding cake. I wanted to incorporate most of what I learned in the Course 3. So the bottom tier, I used the string work and the small roses I made in advanced. The top tier I used the embroidery technique. I realize that I need to practice some more on this. It turn out ok considering this is the second time I've ever use this technique. Another thing I notice is that the fondant was cracking which wasn't there last night. I'm wondering that it could possibly because I transported the cake stacked. I think that when transporting a cake, you assemble the cake on site. There are so much I know I need to improve on but for now, this cake turn out ok. I can't wait to eat it tomorrow. *grin*
