Heron Links
815 am...I stopped by Starbucks to get coffee and cranberry orange scone before I head over to Heron Links this morning. Tee time was at 9am and I made it to the Links 20 minutes before. It was so nice and peaceful. I was actually quite surprise I found myself in a golf course while Jon is staying home with Tyler(...haha...something wrong with this picture) He even prepared my bag and made sure that I have everything I needed...complete set of clubs, glove, tees, bag boy and lots and lots of balls *grin* he know me best. (Thanks honey for letting me play golf today and for watching Tyler! You are awesome!!!...)
I played with Rasy who is like a big sister to me. She was always there to provide me with good advice when we used to work together at the bank. Although we don't see each other very often, we continued to keep in touch even after we move on to different job.
She came with her daughter Stephanie 15min past the schedule tee time. It was nice to see them both. I didn't mind them being late because one there's hardly anyone at the links and two I needed to practice my putting.

Heron Links Rainbow Run Nine Hole Par Three
The funniest thing was I forgot how to grip the golf club...haha..It occurred to me that there's a lot to remember...It has been awhile since I last played. I should've went over it with Jon last night, not just on how to hold the golf club but also basic golf etiquette. I called him to get quick tips and he reminded me that overlapping grip was the one I've used in the past. It worked!
So...beautiful day...did not make a par...on the sand 3 times...did not call "Four!!!"...had a 4,7 and 12 footer putts...enjoyed the company...lost 2 balls...and almost broke 50...not bad for not playing in awhile *grin*
We then have Korean food for lunch and finish off with Boba drink. I had a great time!
Here are some pictures I took from the Golf Course
The Schecks
Three months ago I was on my maternity leave and we had our kitchen remodelled. I went to multiple Home Depot location to get the hardware for our cabinets and one of the location I visited was Redmond. While browsing through the aisle, I thought I saw someone I knew from the past. I was brave enough to call out her name just in case it was her and if it wasn't well that person does not know me anyway so who cares...sure enough it was Theresa who I worked with in my prior employment about 13 years ago. I could not believe it! She also remembered me. I was so happy to see her. We give each other a big hug and exchanged phone numbers. Fast forward three months later, we finally set tonight as our date to meet our respective family. It was so surreal! Finding a long lost friends was just incredible. I've met so many people in my life and only few has left a lifelong impression. The Schecks are one of them. I literally spent my day with people from my past who are so amazing to me and I'm so happy to have my family meet them. What better way to spend the day!
