Tourista

Today I'm a tourist...at least playing one. My childhood friend Jennifer came in town from California today. She is here with her friend who have families in Oak Harbor. Jen is my childhood best friend (Haidee) first cousin and we knew each other since I can remember. The last time we saw each other was probably when our family left Cebu in 1993. wow...15 years ago...has it been that long? I picked her up at the airport around 10am and we headed directly to Pike Place market where we took a lot of pictures. First Starbucks store, the flying fish, the pig statue, the flowers and lots more...it was a lot of fun being a tourist. I love it! (Come to think of it I've never been to the first Starbucks store before, I've pass by it so many times but never went in to order). There's just so many people especially those that came from the Cruise Ship.

We then met up with everyone (Jon, Tyler, Jiji and Kevin) at Cafe Campagne. I always like this place for brunch. The only downside is that the wait for our table was almost 1 hour. It really sucks. But once we were seated, and relaxed, we truly enjoyed the food and we get to spend time playing catch up with Jen. It was also nice that I got together with my sisters. After lunch, Andrea, Jen and I took the monorail and headed over to Space Needle and took more pictures *smile* We went back to downtown Seattle then to the waterfront. Yup! it was a long day of walking but the day went by so fast that I didn't even get to take her to Alki Beach. Maybe next time....
Oh yeah! We really did pose...Touristas...
