As soon as Jon got home, he helped prepare dinner and Tyler joined us too. We gave Tyler a piece of string bean to bite on and he enjoyed it a lot. I think he likes it when we include him during dinner time. Tyler is still trying to master his hand coordination...its so cute to watch him trying to put the string bean in his mouth and instead finding his thumb. Yup...he thumb sucks now...hopefully that will not become a habit. I finally put him to bed at 8pm and Jon and I were able to enjoy Iron Man on DVD since this is the only night I will be able to watch it this week. With all the hype, I had high expectation and it delivered.

Me and Ty
I got to spend my working day with Tyler today. I noticed that he doesn't like to be carried all the time and instead he likes to crawl everywhere. A big blanket and lots and lots of pillows took over our living room...hahaha when I was pregnant I vowed I would not want to have baby stuff in the living room so now I am eating my own words. It's pretty convenient to have the blanket spread out like that and have him crawl everywhere (which he of course manages to find a hole multiple times) because I can also do some work. And when he gets bored with his toys I try talking and singing to him. Now that he's crawling, it's no wonder he naps for a long time (the afternoon nap was the longest at almost 3 hours). I took a picture of us earlier.
As far as feeding goes, he ate 4 tablespoons of rice cereal mix with formula which he likes a lot. I'm suppose to introduce vegetables and fruits soon. His doctor advised us to introduce vegetables first instead of fruits. It's like adults not eating dessert before a meal. My friend Anne has started feeding her son with peas so I think I will do the same. Luckily, I have so many good friends who has already experienced what I have yet to experience. I feel more comfortable getting advice from someone I know rather than getting the information from the Internet.
